Smelt Bay Provincial Park
Smelt Bay Provincial Park is the only provincial campground on Cortes Island. 23 large sites set in the woods overlook Smelt Bay. A day-use and picnicking area is next to the beach. Pit toilets are located in the day-use area and campground. The beach offers opportunities for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Directions Smelt Bay is located 15 km (9 mi) south of the Whaletown Ferry Terminal on Sutil Point Rd.
